Arsene Wenger marks his 20th year in charge of the Gunners on the 1st October and he has already hinted at his departure.
The Frenchman, who is in his last year of his contract, has led Arsenal to three Premier League titles and six FA Cups. There haven’t been any talks about contract renewal and the Gunners boss recently revealed how the club can move forward without him.
“There will be no financial scandal when I leave,” he told BeIN Sport.
“The club is on a good footing. It has good players and a strong team.
“The club has moved forwards a lot during my time and hopefully the next manager can come in and do even better than I did – that’s all I wish.”
The Arsenal board too has prepared for life after Arsene Wenger as hinted in the official minutes of the meeting held between the club’s officials and the supporters’ group.

The meeting touched upon last season’s title disappointment and Ivan Gazidis expressed regret over finishing second when they could have very easily won the title.
“Last season was a disappointment and is not what we are aiming form,” Gazidis is reported to have said in the meeting according to Daily Star.
It is also understood that both Arsenal and Wenger have agreed upon parting ways regardless of how the season pans out. The board has been considering Bournemouth’s coach Eddie Howe as a replacement who had done a tremendous job keeping his club in the Premier League by finishing 16th last season.
Even though he is the favourite to replace Wenger it remains to be seen if he is in fact Arsenal material and a lot depends on how far he can take the Cherries this season.
It might be time to finally let Wenger go but it will be a big transition to go through. Arsene has done wonders with the team and the financial stature of the club, however this may be the best time to see him leave.
