Arsene Wenger has claimed that out of contract players like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil would only want to play in the Premier League (via Arsenal.com).
It’s no secret that Arsenal are struggling to tie down their best players to new contracts right now.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are free agents in the summer and are currently free to speak to foreign clubs about a potential Bosman transfer.
However, Arsene Wenger has claimed that the pair – and most other players – would prefer to play in the Premier League due to the huge sums of money the clubs are able to offer.
“It is not a big concern because I believe most of the players today want to play in the Premier League,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference.

“The Premier League can pay contracts and wages that no other club – apart from three or four clubs abroad – can pay. Overall that is not my main concern.”
Wenger’s main concern is presumably losing those two players to Premier League rivals. It’s no secret that Manchester City are keen on signing Alexis Sanchez and it seems that the feeling is mutual.
