Arsenal have told Real Sociedad manager David Moyes he will have a decision on whether Joel Campbell will be joining his side by Wednesday, according to the Mirror.
Moyes is keen to sign Campbell to bolster his Sociedad squad, with the Costa Rica international either moving to Spain on-loan or for a transfer fee of around £8m.
Yet Arsene Wenger is unsure about whether he wants to let the 22-year-old leave the Emirates Stadium this January – despite the fact he has barely played him this season.
Campbell has made just 10 appearances in all competition since coming back to North London after a loan spell with Olympiakos and is yet to complete a full 90 minutes.
However, that could be set to change with Wenger reducing his attacking options this month by allowing both Lukas Podolski and Yaya Sanogo to leave on loan deals to Inter Milan and Crystal Palace respectively.

Inter have also shown interest in signing Campbell and Sociedad are likely to want to close a deal as soon as possible, with the likes of Benfica, Swansea City, Villarreal and West Bromwich Albion also keeping tabs on the Costa Rican.
