Reports in France suggest that Arsene Wenger doesn’t want Jeff Reine-Adelaide at the club anymore and is ready to sell the 19-year-old (via Sport Witness).
He may be regarded by many supporters as one of the best young prospects at the club but reports in France indicate that Jeff Reine-Adelaide may not be at the club much longer.
France Football claims that Arsene Wenger ‘doesn’t want’ Reine-Adelaide at the club any longer and that Arsenal have held meetings with Nice over a transfer of the player.
Those meetings came to nothing but the fact that they reportedly happened are of interest.
Reine-Adelaide is currently getting over an ankle injury which has kept him out of action since before the end of the season and has not travelled with the squad on their pre-season tour.
The 19-year-old joined the Gunners in 2015 and is yet to make his first Premier League appearance. The Frenchman’s 8 Arsenal appearances have come in cup competitions.

It remains to be seen whether there is much truth in these reports. Jeff Reine-Adelaide has always impressed while appearing for the club but he wouldn’t be the first exciting young prospect to fail to make an impact on the Arsenal first-team. Still, it would be a shame to see Reine-Adelaide leaving the club without realising his full potential.
