Arsene Wenger says Arsenal could still bring in another player this summer despite already having signed Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Thomas Lemar, however that deal looks difficult to pull off, with Monaco keen to keep hold of their young star.
Yet Wenger admits the club could still move for another player, but they will have to be truly outstanding to tempt Arsenal into spending.
“We are open to an exceptional player,” he told Sky Sports. “However, just to remind you we have 33 players here and they are all good players.
“That’s unmanageable so to bring one more player in for the sake of it would be stupid, but if we find an exceptional one, we will do it.”
Arsenal certainly need to start offloading players with the squad currently bloated, and in need of a trim.
Wenger has spoken about uncertainty over Jack Wilshere’s future, and there is speculation Chelsea could move for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Lucas Perez is widely expected to depart, although appears to be struggling to find a move with Arsenal keen to recoup a decent fee for the forward.
Elsewhere players such as Kieran Gibbs, Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson are all believed to be surplus to requirements and will be allowed to leave if offers arrive.
