Arsene Wenger has delivered an injury update on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after he was forced off in the FA Cup win over Lincoln City.
The midfielder started the game but lasted just 27 minutes before being replaced by Mesut Ozil at the Emirates due to injury.
After a slow start Arsenal eventually ran out 5-0 winners thanks to goals from Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud and an own goal.
Speaking after the game Wenger confirmed the nature of Oxlade-Chamberlain’s injury.
“It looks like a hamstring problem, ” he said via The Metro. “I don’t know [how bad it is]. We will have to assess him on Monday – but it didn’t look a bad one. ”
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s injury will be a blow to Arsenal with the midfielder having been in good form and one of the club’s best players recently.

Granit Xhaka also started for Arsenal but picked up a yellow card, the fifth game in a row in which he has been booked following his red card against Burnley.
The win puts Arsenal in the semi-finals of the competition with the draw for the last four set to take place on Monday night following Chelsea’s clash with Manchester United.
Next up for Arsenal is a trip to West Brom on Saturday before Premier League clashes against Manchester City and West Ham at the Emirates.
