Arsene Wenger has insisted Arsenal have not agreed a deal yet for Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac, despite reports claiming a move had been agreed.
Recent speculation had claimed the Gunners had beaten Chelsea to the left-back who would arrive at the club this summer.
However, his father subsequently downplayed the rumours insisting nothing had been agreed with reports claiming the defender would choose between Arsenal and AC Milan.
Wenger was asked about Kolasinac in his pre-match press conference and denied a move is on the cards at the moment.
“Nothing, no,” he said when asked about contact with the player. “We can deny that story at the moment. Nothing has been concluded with anybody.
“I think it is important we do not talk about transfers.”

Wenger also denied speculation he has told some of the Arsenal players that he would be staying on after this season and once again refused to reveal his plans.
“No. I didn’t tell anything to anybody,” he added. “My commitment is total and only focused on Arsenal.”
Wenger’s comments on Kolasinac are bound to cause frustration with many fans believing a deal had been done. The 23-year-old is available on a free this summer and looks to be a really promising acquisition.
