Liverpool are reportedly confident of signing Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer in a £30 million transfer deal (via The Metro).
As Arsenal fans focus on incomings, they would be forgiven for forgetting about potential departures.
One man whose possible exit has been highly reported in recent weeks is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 23-year-old has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in recent weeks but it seems that Liverpool are at the front of the queue.
The Metro claims that Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of the player and that Wenger is willing to sell Oxlade-Chamberlain to the Premier League rivals.
Oxalde-Chamberlain joined Arsenal way back in 2011 and has made almost 200 appearances for the Gunners.
The Englishman enjoyed his best season to date for the club last term, scoring six goals in all competitions before moving to a new position at right wing-back.

The Ox reportedly has just one-year left on his current deal and Liverpool are keen to seal a £30 million transfer for the player.
While Arsenal fans can expect a number of players to leave the club this summer, it seems unlikely that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be one of them. The Englishman was one of the key men for Arsenal in the second-half of last season and given the player’s growth in the last six months, it would be a strange decision to sell him now.
