It’s one of the most intriguing transfers in Premier League history and it’s going to be even more fascinating to see how it goes for both clubs and players.
The swap deal between Arsenal and Manchester United saw Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan switch clubs.
The Gunners grabbed the latter and now, Arsene Wenger has revealed how Mkhitaryan is settling in at the Emirates.
“Well, you see straight away that he’s a great football player, which we knew before we got him here,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference.

“After that, I will know more about him in two or three days. We now have two or three good days to prepare [and find out] what the best possible position is for him and how quickly he can integrate the way we want to play.
“It doesn’t look like there will be any problem in there.”
Wenger was then asked whether we can expect Mkhitaryan to make his Arsenal debut against Swansea City next Tuesday.
“I haven’t decided that yet, I will certainly decide that on Monday, but he is available like everybody else.”
Most Arsenal fans will be hugely excited to see their new man in action soon. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a player many in North London have admired for some time and it’s pleasing to finally have him at the club. Hopefully, things go well and he’ll be a success.
