Arsene Wenger has provided an interesting updated on the future of Jack Wilshere and said when he thinks the midfielder’s future will be decided (via Arsenal.com).
The future of Jack Wilshere is one of the most interesting stories going on at Arsenal at the moment.
The midfielder’s current contract expires in the summer and Wilshere is yet to sign the current offer on the table from Arsenal.
Now, Arsene Wenger has revealed when he thinks Jack Wilshere will make that decision and what he wants from the 26-year-old.
“I don’t know what’s in his mind,” Wenger said during his pre-match press conference.
“He has an offer, it is a long-term contract and I hope he will sign it. We want him to stay.

“I think he will make that decision before the end of the season. I don’t think he will want to go to the World Cup without sorting his situation.”
It’s an interesting situation but, hopefully, one which will be resolved sooner rather than later. Jack Wilshere is a good player and has impressed at times this season but perhaps not enough to warrant the sort of big-money offer he is reportedly keen on.
