Arsene Wenger has claimed that both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez both love Arsenal and want to stay at the club (via the BBC).
Could the incredible transfer saga surrounding Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil take another twist? Arsene Wenger certainly thinks so.
The pair are two of the best players at the club but with both of their respective contracts set to expire in the summer, Sanchez and Ozil seemed set to leave.
Contract negotiations between the duo and the club seem to be non-existent right now which is perhaps why these comments by Arsene Wenger are so surprising.
The Frenchman told the press that he thinks the pair loves the club and that both want to remain in North London.

“I am convinced they love the club and love the team, but all the rest will be decided – when? I don’t really know,” said Wenger.
“I believe they love the club and want to stay, but there are other top clubs out there who offer good contracts as well.”
It remains to be seen whether or not there is any truth in these reports. However, at this point in time it seems very unlikely that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will be playing for Arsenal next season. The January transfer window will probably be the time where we find out for certain.
