Arsene Wenger is planning a major overhaul of his Arsenal squad this summer and wants to bring in Alexandre Lacazette and Kylian Mbappe as potential replacements for Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, according to The Mirror.
The report claims Wenger will sign a new two-year deal at the Emirates but expects to lose his two star men this summer and is planning for life without them.
The Frenchman reportedly has a huge budget of over £100m with which to strengthen his squad with Mbappe and Lacazette their top attacking targets, with Marco Reus and Celtic’s Moussa Dembele also in contention.
Lacazette has enjoying a stunning season for Lyon scoring 29 goals already this campaign but both the club and the player have admitted he is likely to move on in the summer.
Mbappe is also expected to be on the move after a stunning season with the Ligue 1 side and Wenger has recently revealed he tried to sign him last season.
The report also claims that Wenger is in the hunt for a goalkeeper to replace David Ospina with Jack Butland, Jordan Pickford and Joe Hart all candidates.

Arsenal will also move for a left-back while the futures of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey are all uncertain with all three potentially set to leave the club this summer.
Certainly big changes are needed this summer and it’s hard to see Sanchez remaining at the club given his recent visible frustrations. Lacazette has been brilliant this season and would undoubtedly be a quality addition but it is the exciting Mbappe who is likely to really get pulses racing should he make the move to the Emirates.
