Arsenal legen Ian Wright has launched a stinging attack on Arsene Wenger after our disappointing defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in what was an extremely poor performance.
Wright, who was a pundit on BT Sport, stated that Wenger is frequently indecisive in the transfer window which often leads to us missing out on specific targets.
We were the only club in Europe’s top five leagues who didn’t manage to sign an outfield player, a staggering statistic given that our squad is far from perfect.
Clubs like Bayern Munich and Barcelona, who are filled with top quality, have taken it open themselves to add more numbers to prevent. But Wenger, rather astonishingly, feels that Petr Cech is enough to bridge the gap towards the big trophies.

Monaco defeated us in the Champions League last season while we finished 12 points off the champions, Chelsea. On the evidence of how our season has begun, it’s difficult to see us improving on last season’s campaign.
