Harry Redknapp obviously wasn’t every Arsenal fan’s favourite manager back when he was with Tottenham, but he is somewhat surprisingly complimentary of our side on a regular basis.
The experienced manager has heaped praise on our current squad once again, and has tipped us for Premier League glory this season, as reported by talkSPORT.
“It’s going to be tight this year but I’ve got a feeling for Arsenal,” Redknapp said.
“I’d rather see Tottenham! But I’ve just got a feeling Arsenal might come strong this year, if Arsene [Wenger] keeps his players fit, people like [Jack] Wilshere and [Theo] Walcott.
“Last year they weren’t far away and had lots of injures and lost key players. This year they could go close.”
Our form in 2015 as well as our fantastic pre-season performances suggest Redknapp has a point, as we have arguably been one of the top teams in Europe over the last seven months.

We arguably already look like a team capable of challenging for the highest honours, with the signing of Petr Cech adding to an already star studded lineup. With a few more additions we would unquestionably be potential title challengers next season, and there’s still some time to go before the transfer window closes.
Chelsea are the team to beat this season, but we look closer than ever to getting the better of Jose Mourinho and his side.
Injuries have always been one of our major downfalls, but we even seem to have remedied that situation to some extent. 2015/16 is looking extremely bright, and all signs are pointing to us having one of our most successful seasons in over a decade.
