Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is hoping to enjoy a sustained partnership with Jack Wilshere after the two suffered lengthy injury problems last season, the Welshman told RWD.
Ramsey and Wilshere have long been heralded as our future leaders, but finding space for both midfield talents in an area of intense competition has proven difficult for Arsene Wenger.
Wilshere’s ankle injury meant that he missed most of the last campaign and Ramsey was shunted out wide by the boss due to the form of Santi Cazorla.
However, with the Spaniard entering the twilight of his career, it may be time for Ramsey and Wilshere to establish the partnership many had hoped would lead us into the future.

“We haven’t had that real chance to play with each other and to show what we’re capable of doing together.
“Definitely when we’re on the pitch together we’re on the same wavelength. I think a lot of the Arsenal players are anyway, especially with our midfield.”
Francis Coquelin’s emergence has lessened the importance of a new holding midfielder and Wenger should seek to partner Wilshere and Ramsey more frequently.
The duo definitely compliment each other well in terms of their basic qualities and with Wilshere proving that he’s capable of being more disciplined for England, hopefully, we’ll see them partnered together more.
