West Ham are in the midst of an injury crisis as they prepare to visit Arsenal this weekend with a number of first team players ruled out of the game.
Arsenal transfer news
It was confirmed yesterday that Enner Valencia will be out due to a domestic accident leaving a serious cut on his big toe that required emergency treatment whilst Alex Song and Nene could both be short of fitness to start.
But is has now been revealed that Sam Allardyce will have to contend with the loss of defender James Tomkins who is suspected of dislocating his shoulder during training yesterday.
The Daily Telegraph reports the 25-year-old will have scans on the problem today and may possibly be out for the season.

This latest setback for the Hammers means they visit Arsenal this weekend with just one fit central defender in James Collins, with Winston Reid already ruled out through a hamstring issue.
This could therefore force the club to move Cheikhou Kouyate back into the defence from midfield as a make-shift solution.
Carl Jenkinson meanwhile will be unable to play against Arsenal due to restrictions on loan players facing their parent clubs.
