Through a Mikel Arteta penalty, Arsenal defeated an impressive Wigan Athletic side 1-0 away from home to win their third Premier League game on the trot. Going into the match, everyone was hoping to see more of the attacking flair that destroyed Reading during the week. The lineup was exactly the same, with Podolski, Walcott and Chamberlain taking up the front 3 positions, but the overall performance, not as similar. Though despite not playing at our full potential, a win is a win, and it does put us into the top 4.
