Jack Wilshere has travelled to Manchester with the Arsenal side ahead of Sunday’s massive tie against the former Champions.
The 21-year-old is back in the squad after missing the past two outings with an ankle injury sustained during training, providing a timely boost for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
Although the England international will not likely start, we can expect to see him at some point in the game whether to inject some venom into Arsenal’s attack or help to solidify the midfield.
He said on his official twitter account:
@JackWilshere: Good training session today, nice to be back in the squad! Big game tomorrow! See you there Gooners!!!
The news is certainly positive to have both Wilshere and Flamini back in action. The Englishman had started to look his old self in recent weeks, using his trademark burst of pace to open up our opponents midfield and defence. He’s even been getting onto the scoresheet, most notably netting that memorable goal against Norwich a few weeks back.

Massive news to have Wilshere back, he provides more options for Wenger on the bench and will help inspire even more confidence that the Gunners can stretch their lead out at the top of the table.
