According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners are organizing some behind-closed-doors friendlies for Jack Wilshere to prepare the English midfielder for competitive football within the next two weeks.
According to reports, the 20-year-old is nearing a return to full fitness after hobbling off during Arsenal’s preseason fixture against the New York Red Bulls in the Emirates cup, consequently he has not seen a single minute of Premier League football this season.
Arsenal only have two scheduled reserve games left now which means that Wenger will have to look to alternative methods for preparing his prodigy for the Premier League once again.
Apparently Wilshere was set to be included in the reserve match against Newcastle reserves on Tuesday but there are still question marks over whether Neil Banfield (reserve manager) will be able to include him.

At the moment the main setbacks for the midfielder are minor and are not ankle-related which is common after long injury lay-offs from upping the intensity in training with the body not used to too much physical exercise. But it sounds like that the youngster is not far from making a full recovery which is exciting news for all Arsenal fans!
He can be key a component in Wenger’s plans for the league run in and provide a more variety of options through the midfield. Ramsey has not been performing as of late, so Wilshere will be a more than able super-sub when Rosicky tires until he is fit enough to start and last 90 minutes then he will most likely take over from Arteta in the heart of the midfield.
Who are your midfield picks with Wilshere returning? Surely it has to be Song, Wilshere and Rosicky!
